GDW Fulfillment Attends STN Expo in Indianapolis
Indaianapolis, IN June , 2022 - GDW Fulfillment attended the School Transportation News (STN) Expo held in Downtown Indianapolis. With almost 60 vendors at the Indy event, the STN Expo connects public and private transportation professionals from across the U.S. and worldwide.
GDW Fulfillment booth featured the Anthem One UV-C Cube. Live demonstrations of the UV-C Cube disinfecting power was shown to the crowds gathered around their booth. "This is a great event to show first hand how to disinfect school buses without harsh chemicals." said Annette Kavanaugh, President of GDW Fulfillment. "We don't know the long term effects of the chemical disinfectants used by so many during the pandemic. This [UV-C] technology has been around over on hundred years."
According the the FDA website, UVC is a known disinfectant for air, water, and nonporous surfaces. UVC has effectively been used for decades to reduce the spread of bacteria, such as tuberculosis. For this reason, UVC lamps are often called "germicidal" lamps.
The Anthem One UV-C Cube is a mobile, hand-held tool that uses ultraviolet light to disinfect contaminated surfaces. The Cube's light card will eliminate up to 99.999% of pathogens including bacteria, viruses, and fungus. The unit is encased in military grade metal. The Cube light card will last 50,000 hours - or seventeen (17) years if used for four 4 hours everyday. The disinfecting unit has child safety in mind. Every unit contains child lock safety key that inserted and turned before the Cube will switch on. Additionally, the cord on the Cube is 30 feet and runs on a standard 110 outlet.
